100 years of Opportunity Celebrated
Throughout the growth of our city, opportunities for Punta Gorda citizens have existed side-by-side. These are depicted in our area’s murals and museums. Join these 2 museums as they depict contributions of African Americans in the settlement and development of the community as well as photos, news clippings and writings that tell the story of our African-American heritage.
