On Tuesday, September 22, the Punta Gorda Chamber of Commerce invites our community to join us for a City Council Candidate Q&A, featuring the candidates running in Punta Gorda’s contested City Council races.

The Punta Gorda Chamber is a nonpartisan organization, and this event is not about telling anyone how to vote. It’s about giving voters an opportunity to hear directly from the candidates about the issues affecting our city…particularly business, economic development, tourism, growth, infrastructure, and Punta Gorda’s future.
And we want our business community involved in the conversation.

Business owners and Chamber members are encouraged to submit questions they would like to see addressed during the forum. Please email your questions to smclaughlin@puntagorda-chamber.com for consideration.
The Chamber will select the questions in advance, but candidates will not receive the specific questions beforehand. We want our community to hear authentic answers and see how each candidate thinks about the opportunities and challenges facing Punta Gorda.
